"Shared fantasy" concept
The concept of a "Shared Fantasy" is apparently from The Middle Years – New Psychoanalytic Perspectives (John M. Oldham, Robert S. Liebert) and Fred M. Sander's chapter, "Marital Conflict and Psychoanalytic Therapy in Middle Years." The chapter discusses couples, mentally healthy or not, commonly entering into a shared fantasy. Vaknin mentions it in this talk
